Numbers

You may type numbers into the equation editor using the standard Nemeth braille lower-cell numbers.

The equation editor will automatically supply the numeric indicator for you. Whether you type it or not, the equation editor should still produce the proper Nemeth braille output.

A comma separator may be entered as part of a number using dot 6.

A decimal point may be entered as part of a number using dots 46.

A decimal number may be entered with a leading zero, or without it. Again, whether or not you type the numeric indicator, the equation editor should produce the proper Nemeth braille output.
