Accessibility Research and Efficacy
Pearson is always working to improve access to our digital tools and content for all students, including students with disabilities. Our goal is to remove barriers to learning for everyone. Through our ongoing research and development efforts, we strive to make education more accessible for students who have historically experienced barriers due to their access needs.
To accomplish this goal, Pearson has a dedicated research team who conduct primary and secondary research and evaluation studies. We also collaborate with external partners to better understand the access needs of all learners. The efforts are distributed among three broad areas:
- Research and Dissemination of Best Practices
- Outreach & Networking
- Compliance & Monitoring of Laws and Regulations Related to People with Disabilities
